Overview:
Designed for the fashion industry and formulated for efficiency, Kintra Fibers and fabrics have a plug-and-play fit into brands’ established manufacturing processes. Kintra has a farm-to-fiber approach for synthetics, using 100% bio-based sources and creating materials that are 100% compostable.

Ingredient information:
Kintra’s fibre’s are a form of polyester called polybutylene succinate (PBS), which is biodegradable and compostable, and in Kintra's current process, 56% derived from corn instead of fossil fuels.

Sustainability credentials:
Kintra envision a future for the fashion industry that is free from fossil fuels. Their inputs are derived from sugar instead of petroleum, and they design their materials to fit industrial composting. The flagship material they will launch with PANGAIA "will be 100% bio-based and traced to corn and wheat primary feedstocks".

Application and use:
Kintra are inventing a fabric that mimics the stretch, durability, and moisture-wicking properties of synthetics but is made of renewable materials and can be composted.
